Santa Sangre by surreal master Alejandro Jodorowsky (The Holy Mountain), premiered in the Un Certain Regard category of the 1989 Cannes Film Festival and is the first Jodorowsky film to be released on Blu-Ray.

Like all his other work, it is a powerful, freaky, and disturbing film that is a feast for the senses.  Shot with vivid colors and filled with striking characters and powerful imagery, this is a strange film that blends many different genres in an unforgettable way.

If you are tired of the typical Hollywood fare and are looking to experience an utterly unpredictable film that defies description, see Santa Sangre.
