37th César Awards (2012) Nominees


The official nominees for the 37th edition of the César Awards (France's Oscars), rewarding films released in 2011, have been unveiled today by the French Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques (L'Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma).

Cannes Jury Prize winner Polisse leads the way with 13 nominations, followed by L'exercice de l'État with 11, The Artist with 10, and Intouchables with 9.

She does deserve it, but they do seem to hand out this award randomly to big stars just to get their ratings up.

I always love to look at these and see their "Best Foreign Film" category, and what does and doesn't make it in. Gives one a different perspective, I think!
