IMDB
Boogie from director Radu Muntean (The Paper Will Be Blue), is a radical departure from the usual themes of the Romanian New Wave. There is no talk of revolution, no grim life of poverty and no crumbling and overflowing tenements. Instead, we get to see the picturesque seaside and a view of life in modern Romania, yes they also have cell phones, laptops, and imported Swedish cars. Stellar performances from Dragos Bucur (Liviu's Dream) as the thirty something family man struggling with his identity and Anamaria Marinca (4 Months, 3 Weeks & 2 Days) as his wife who feels neglected.
