Cinematic Alphabet - By The Numbers

Well, I hope you all enjoyed my Robert Bresson retrospective over the last couple of weeks.  It was both fun and challenging, locating them all, viewing them in order and keeping the posts on schedule.  I do have a few other directors/themes I want to explore here in the near future, but now that the NHL playoffs have started, it will be awhile before I attempt another project of similar scope.

Moving on, I present you with a completely frivolous filler post.  I've noticed recently quite a few movie bloggers have been posting their Alphabetical Movie Lists with films for each letter of the alphabet.  I've decided to do mine a little differently, with numbers:

1 is for Ichi the Killer

2 is for A Tale of Two Sisters

3 is for Three Amigos

4 is for Four Flies on Grey Velvet

5 is for Survive Style 5+

6 is for Six String Samurai

7 is for The Red Queen Kills Seven Times

8 is for 8 Women

9 is for Session 9

10 is for "10"

I was originally planning on going to 20, but it was getting a bit difficult. Maybe I'll try again in the future.

Nice twist on the list. I saw the thumbnail had Ichi and was pleasantly surprised by your list. Wasn't expecting 3 Amigos here though!

I am pleased by the inclusion of Session 9 in this list, even if it's just for a filler post. That movie was sublime and deserves more appreciation.

That and Spies Like Us were my favorite movies as a kid.

A great idea - I don't think I've seen that many films with numbers...
Three Amigos is hilarious!
