Genre: Drama / Thriller
Director: Antoinette Beumer

Duration: 108 min.
Summary:
Five close friends, all of them married, share a loft to meet their
mistresses. One day they find the body of a young woman in the loft.
Since there are only five keys to the loft, the five men begin to
suspect each other of murder.
Loft is a film directed by Antoinette Beumer, it is a remake of the 2008 Belgian film of the same name Loft (2008). Almost exactly the same film, this one is set in Amsterdam and takes place in a slightly nicer waterfront loft.
Though this one features nicer looking sets and arguably a sexier cast, it does not match up beyond the surface. The acting is not nearly as convincing and the score is a bit too intrusive, giving this an almost network television like feel (but without the censorship). There are a few scenes executed differently to be of interest to those who saw the original, but all in all this comes across as a cheap replica.

Deja Vu, huh. Like I said yesterday, I'd be interested to see the American version.
Whole lot of deja vu, that was my sister yesterday:D
Imagine that. A remake that isn't as good as the original...
And you think you can dethrone me on Shutterbug's blog? Bring it! :)
Sure it was.
Haha the challenge is on!
You had me at lust. :D
Quite Intriguing
Funny I don't recall using that word
