The 84th Academy Awards nominations will be announced today at 8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m., presented by Academy President Tom Sherak and Academy member and Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence.

Yeah I agree there seems to be a lot of great performances that got snubbed.
I'm glad that Angelina Jolie's horrid political propaganda against Serbs IN THE LAND OF BLOOD AND HONEY wasn't nominated.
When it comes to other nominations, it will be a very boring and mediocre year in film and male actors category with a lot of mediocre movies and actors. How could they not nominate Michael Fass My Benders??? SHAME, JANE EYRE, A DANGEROUS METHOD, all great performances.
I'm satisfied only with Meryl, Glenn and Michelle being nominated! And Kenneth Branagh of course!
I haven't heard too much about it (on purpose), but there has been a lot of positive buzz around it for months. I am looking forward to seeing it.

In Darkness looks interesting, although I've heard it could be too Polish for a wide audience to really love it
Bullhead made it in. I remember that you liked the actor in this one a lot.
