A family reunion turns deadly when mutant animals launch a violent attack.

Prey is the debut feature film from French director Antoine Blossier.  It premiered at the 2010 L'Étrange Festival in France.

A gory and brutal tale about a boar hunt gone wrong, Prey has a few scattered moments of intensity, but fails to really make an impact with a predictable sequence of events; characters you'd rather see die than live, yes every last one of them; and worst of all, most of the bloody action occurs off screen.

It might be worth a watch if you are in the mood for a straight forward horror and it happens to be on.  Otherwise forget I even mentioned it.

Hmmm. I appreciate the run of horror movies you've got here but where's the quality haha.

Just watched this a week ago!

I find that movies like this tend to make the trailers completely of all the best parts, which means I don't actually have to ever watch the movie. Nice review though :)

You want to see ALL of them die? It sounds pretty terrible and all, but just the same that's interesting. Yeah, I'll skip it.
