Tarr is very precise and formalistic almost never using handheld shots, he's slow and raw but the images are always cinematic, every action or non action is deliberately done for the camera. While Olmi is spontaneous, scenes feel natural and less scripted, life is happening and his camera just happens to be there.Bonjour Tristessehttp://www.bonjourtristesse.net/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-556159764413551252.post-35217707592262955302012-07-15T12:26:32.633-07:002012-07-15T12:26:32.633-07:00No not much of a story at all. However, its absolutely fascinating if you are the kind of person who likes people watching.Bonjour Tristessehttp://www.bonjourtristesse.net/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-556159764413551252.post-43167208336713618372012-07-15T12:22:26.165-07:002012-07-15T12:22:26.165-07:00You should, I think you'd enjoy this one.You should, I think you'd enjoy this one.Bonjour Tristessehttp://www.bonjourtristesse.net/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-556159764413551252.post-48978053000436597562012-07-15T12:21:28.126-07:002012-07-15T12:21:28.126-07:00Italian films always have the greatest titles.Italian films always have the greatest titles.Bonjour Tristessehttp://www.bonjourtristesse.net/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-556159764413551252.post-24169419156934621932012-07-15T07:34:57.427-07:002012-07-15T07:34:57.427-07:00Your blog really got me into world cinema- I alway...Your blog really got me into world cinema- I always had an interest in it, but now I really know which ones to choose.
