Hlynur is 30 years old and unemployed. He still lives with his mother and spends his time getting drunk, watching porn and surfing the net. His life changes when his mother's Spanish flamenco teacher, Lola, stays with them for Christmas. On New Year's Eve, while his mother is away, Hlynur discovers Lola is a lesbian, and also ends up sleeping with her. Hlynur soon finds out he and his mother are sharing more than just a house.
